inLinx wants to remove the language barrier

Language might be the last barrier for people to communicate with anyone else in the world. Smartphones have propelled people´s access to the internet and made the world a much smaller place.

67% now have access to a mobile phone according to Hootsuite’s latest Digital Report. However, language can still pose communication challenges.

New social media network inLinx is hoping to address this by making its platform available to everybody, regardless of language or location. The platform already is available in 50 languages and the network is hoping to double it.

– We see that language can be a barrier for people. So much of internet content is in English but millions of people around the world don’t speak English. By giving people access to our network in their own language we are hoping to make inLinx an accessible platform, says inLinx founder Zabi Zamir.

The platform is already available in languages like Chinese, Spanish, Zulu and Gujarati. Within the next year inLinx is hoping to double that with languages like Welsh, Khmer and Icelandic on its list.
